Lawyer's mobile and data stolen in Lakshmipur: Conspiracy feared

Advocate Saif Uddin Khokon's mobile was stolen and later returned by a miscreant in Lakshipur. Later, the criminal told him in a WhatsApp call that he had stolen some information and that it would be returned if he exchanged it. As a result, this lawyer of Lakshipur bar is expressing fear that he may be a victim of conspiracy.
He mentioned on his Facebook page, "Today, April 8, 2024, the mobile phone was lost/stolen in the afternoon. I came out of the house in the evening to go to the police station about the mobile phone being lost or stolen. I came out of the house and came to the chamber. Someone left the phone under the door in my chamber.
A lot of personal information/documents on my phone have been stolen. A stranger calls me on WhatsApp and says that I have to fulfill some of his demands in order to get back the information from him. He is afraid of harming me if I don't agree. I might be a victim of a conspiracy. I am also afraid of filing a case under the ICT Act. Let's see how far the poor thing goes. The theft of Advocate Saif Uddin Khokon's mobile phone and demand for its return and exchange of information is a completely new type of crime. Anyone can be a victim of such crime. Therefore, crime experts think caution is important.
