Due to the absence of the moon, Eid will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia on Thursday and in Bangladesh on Friday

Kalimullah Dewan Raja:

Finally, there is nothing to speculate about the Eid bar. Eid will be celebrated on Thursday in Saudi Arabia as the moon of Shawwal month is not seen. That means Eid in Bangladesh will be on Friday. The moon of the holy month of Shawwal was not seen anywhere in the Muslim countries of the Gulf on Tuesday.

Middle East-based media outlets, including Gulf News and the Khaleej Times, reported that Saudi Arabia's Moon Sighting Committee could not see the Shawwal moon anywhere in the country on Tuesday.

Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court has asked citizens of the country and other Gulf Muslim countries, including Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, to observe the holy month of Shawwal. However, since the moon is not seen anywhere in the sky of the Gulf region, one has to fast on Wednesday as well. According to him, there will be 30 fasts. As a result, the Middle East will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday.
